You'll sit down with our team and talk through the changes you've noticed and what you've tried. We'll go over the in-office treatments, the home routine and the cost, so you can decide if the treatments are right for you.

Four in-office treatments with the ULTRA+ device and DE|RIVE serum, plus daily care at home with the serum, shampoo and leave-in conditioner. Your provider sets the schedule for the four visits at your consultation, based on your plan.

Plan on about half an hour. The ULTRA+ portion itself takes about 20 minutes, and we take progress photos along the way.

No needles are involved. ULTRA+ uses ultrasound. The maker says most people feel gentle warming or tingling and experience no downtime. Individual results vary.

There isn't one cause. The most common is hereditary and comes with age. Hormonal changes and some medical conditions play a part, and so can stress, certain medications, and some hairstyles and hair treatments. Because the causes differ, treatment here always starts with a consultation.

The honest answer comes from a conversation, not a web page. Different kinds of hair loss call for different care. At the consultation we look at what you've noticed, go over the treatments and tell you whether they fit. If it isn't the right fit, we'll say so.

The maker says DE|RIVE is safe for all skin and hair types and easy to apply. The ULTRA+ device does have a short list of health conditions it isn't used with, such as pregnancy or a pacemaker, and we go through that list with you at the consultation.

From our office. DE|RIVE is available through practitioners, and the daily serum, shampoo and leave-in conditioner come with your four treatments. The serum comes as a 30-day supply.
